"By chains & lash we came, no choice in the matter at hand, where sweat of brow by task forced was endured under the gatekeepers harsh demand. We toiled upon the unfurtile soil, shifting stone & rock & tree where the hot sun baked hard the providence of claim and at night our thoughts turned to the need to be Free. Australia a harsh land no-one can deny yet power of beauty is clear, a teacher & molder of the human spirit, a lesson we hold dear. For upon the Plains & desert, the forest, mountains & streams, the seasons of harsh refrain echo distantly across this wide land of extremes. One day we here gathered upon this rock shall look skyward and utterly proclaim, we will build together you and I, of Aboriginal & Convict seed, an egalitarian province of such mate ship borne, determined with fortitude against all odds, an image and character of relentless frame & stamina bold that shall carve the greatest nation of endurance, a place where we call Australia Our Home"
